Top 5 Wednesday | Books You DNF.

top 5 wednesday

Hi guys! Its Wednesday again and I am bringing you this weeks T5W 🙂 This meme was created by Lainey and if you would like to find out more about joining in on this fun meme, you can check out the goodreads group; here.

This weeks topic is books you DNF (did not finished.) Some of these books I feel quite ashamed that I didn’t stick them out because most of them I’ve heard amazing things about. But just because they’re on this list, doesn’t mean I won’t go back to them in the future!

So, lets get started 🙂

1. Paper Towns – John Green.

Synopsis (Taken from Goodreads.)

Who is the real Margo?

Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows. After their all-nighter ends, and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew…

– I tried so hard to finish this book. I really wanted to like it but I just didn’t and I wasn’t going to force myself to finish a book I just couldn’t get into. Sorry John!

Top 10 Tuesday | Ten Books On My Spring TBR.

top 10 tuesday

Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This weeks topic is 10 books on my spring TBR! There are so many AMAZING books that have recently come out so I’m super excited about those.

1. On The Edge Of Gone – Corinne Duyvis.

Synopsis (Taken from Goodreads.)

January 29, 2035. That’s the day the comet is scheduled to hit—the big one.

Denise and her mother and sister, Iris, have been assigned to a temporary shelter outside their hometown of Amsterdam to wait out the blast, but Iris is nowhere to be found, and at the rate Denise’s drug-addicted mother is going, they’ll never reach the shelter in time.

A last-minute meeting leads them to something better than a temporary shelter: a generation ship, scheduled to leave Earth behind to colonize new worlds after the comet hits. But everyone on the ship has been chosen because of their usefulness. Denise is autistic and fears that she’ll never be allowed to stay. Can she obtain a spot before the ship takes flight? What about her mother and sister?

When the future of the human race is at stake, whose lives matter most?

– I’ve been super excited for this book to come out ever since I heard about it. It sounds so amazing and I am going to pick up a copy next week when I get paid.

book tag

Haven’t done a tag in a while! Thank you to Sammie over at Bookshelves and Biros for tagging me in this awesome tag. It was created by The Bookish Underdog and I’m super excited to do it 🙂 Let’s get to it!

1. Mama, just killed a man – A fictional character’s death that really upset you?

Dobby from Harry Potter. I just can’t even express how upset I was over this little elf who helped Harry out in so many ways. I became even more upset at his little grave. No, I can’t even talk about it anymore. *crawls into a blanket fort and sobs!*
